2024 Grantees

Since 2016, Ojai Women’s Fund has awarded substantial grants to local organizations addressing the most pressing needs in the Ojai Valley. We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to this year’s generous member donations, seven nonprofit organizations serving the residents of the Ojai Valley will receive funding. With our 2024 grants totaling $91,155, Ojai Women’s Fund has now contributed nearly $800,000 in transformative support to our community since our inception. The 2024 grantees are as follows.

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Ventura

$15,000

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Ventura received a grant to support their Oak View Teen Center providing free daily mentor-driven programs for the area’s teens, primarily from single-parent and/or lower-income earning families.

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association

$10,000

The Livingston Cares program in Ojai Valley received a grant to provide essential services, including home health care, caregiver support, and hospice services to all residents, regardless of financial means.

OjaiCARES

$10,000

OjaiCARES received a grant to support its Patient Navigation and Community Outreach program that provides medical care, counseling, referrals, and additional support for those living with cancer in the Ojai Valley.

The Arc of Ventura County

$15,000

The Arc of Ventura County received a grant to benefit its Ojai Enrichment Center, supporting 55 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, through programs and services to achieve their goals of independence, inclusion, and participation in their community.

Interface Children and Family Services

$11,995

Interface 211 received a grant to provide requests for health and human service needs, such as shelter, mental health, health care, food, rent, utilities, legal aid, disaster/emergency services, and transportation. to 300 Ojai Valley low-income, senior, and disabled residents.

Mesa

$14,160

Mesa, providing transitional housing and comprehensive services for young adults experiencing homelessness, received a grant to build a custom shed for storing 12 bikes so that Mesa participants have reliable transportation to school and work.

Poco Farm

$15,000

Poco Farm, a regenerative learning farm, received a grant to expand free after-school farm education for Ojai Valley students and to increase organic food provision for local nutrition assistance programs.
